WWW Wednesday is a weekly event where you share (1) What you’re currently reading, (2) What you recently finished reading, and (3) What you think you’ll read next.įIRST LINES FRIDAYS Meme from Wandering Words Meme hosted by Sam Anne at Taking on a World of Words (Current Read, Previous Read, Next Read) The fantastic GroundEd blog at has a full tutorial on how to set up a Book Flix whether static or moving with links. This brilliant Book Flix idea was first featured on Instagram on page and then showcased by Lucas Maxwell in his newsletter celebrating resourceful library ideas-The Portable Magic Dispenser. This will be a monthly celebration of book covers of a series or themes.Įach week I will feature something an inspirational school librarian has done to impart the magic of reading to their students. I am going to select a different genre each month and feature a read I have enjoyed under that category, listing its flavours. It could be sweet (like an orange or strawberry crème), bitter (like dark chocolate), have complex layers of flavouring (like salted caramel or rosemary), be a little nutty (like hazelnut) or quite spicy offering lots of adventure and excitement (like Chilli) or maybe just intensely delicious in terms of beautiful, lyrical language (like honey). When you pick up a book you never know what you are going to experience till you have read it. These I like to categorise on goodreads as ‘Something Completely Different’ or ‘Just So Random’. Books may be multi-genre too or prefer not to be categorised. Some are sub genres of more main stream genres- ex: Steam Punk and Dystopia can be linked to Sci Fi. ![]() There are so many genres on offer to readers. Taking the quote ‘Life is like a box of chocolates’ as inspiration I have decided to create a chocolate box themed genre meme. I am new to blogging so I am experimenting with memes. This will involve recommending an Adult novel, a Middle Grade read and a YA novel each month.
